Thanksgiving hours
Can you believe the week of Thanksgiving has arrived? Where has the year gone? Unlike last year, Thanksgiving is expected to look a little bit more normal. Family and friends will gather again to share home-cooked meals and stories and meet new tiny members who joined during the pandemic.
AAA reports that 29 percent of Americans are expected to travel long distances for Thanksgiving this year. Whether you are traveling or spending it at home, Thanksgiving is a great day to reflect and be grateful for everything that occurred this year. That is why this holiday is one of our personal favorites.
If you are spending Thanksgiving weekend in Austin, rejoice! There are a lot of events occurring during this festive weekend. Take the whole family to see the Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony of Georgetown’s Historic Town Square on Friday, Nov. 26, 2021.
If your family and friends want to do something a little active, walk or run in ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021. This event is both in-person and virtual. Or, you can get a head start on all your holiday shopping and support small businesses by shopping at these Austin stores.
At OMG Austin, we think family time is incredibly important, which is why we are closing down our office. Beginning at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 24, our management, marketing and development teams will be out of the office. Don’t worry! We’ll be back first thing Monday, Nov. 29, for normal business hours.
If you do need support while the team is away, simply email the support address provided to you in your support package. Our on-call staff will get back to you as quickly as they can.
We are sending you and your family all of the virtual hugs; we cannot wait to see you again soon!
Happy Thanksgiving, from our family to yours.
